Crime Prevention

We encourage and recognise crime prevention at stables, livery yards and other equine premises.

What can you do to protect your horse or pony from the possibility of injury?
What can you do to protect them from equine theft?

You can be a force with us to protect, nurture & further all aspects of equine owning.

Show your willingness to provide a safe environment for your equine.

Show support by attending the S.A.F.E. Absolutely Equine Events, held during the year.
Join our riders initiatives.

Fill in the stable yard assessment forms.

Awards for good practice in equine crime protection are available to horse owners & riders. Yearly we hold our Accreditation Awards for livery yards and our Gold Awards for owners of a small number of equine.

To Apply: We ask you to assess your premises. Choose the form applicable to your establishment. Then rate your efforts on a scale of 1-10 on the appropriate form. Fill in & send the form to S.A.F.E. Farnham Police Station, Farnham, Surrey GU9 7PZ.

Recognition & Reward: Every entry is assessed. In each category those demonstrating high standards receive a framed Accreditation Certificate. Those with particularly high standards are invited to join us and other winners for a buffet meal and special award presentation. Yearly a prestigious equine trophy, a framed certificate and a gift will be awarded to the Livery Yard judged to have in place the highest standards of equine crime prevention.

The S.A.F.E. Gold Awards are presented yearly to three non commercial establishments showing the highest standard of equine crime prevention. Each receive an Award Plaque, Product Voucher & goody bag. They too are invited to join in the awards presentation. .

Act now and become a S.A.F.E. Winner in 2009?
