Two equine. An 8 yr old miniature Shetland and a 16.1hh Clydesdale were seriously injured.
Each animal received identical injury to the right eye. The injury was caused by the eye being punctured
by an air pellet from close range.
The little one had an operation yesterday to remove his right eye and is at present recovering. His long time close companion has been blinded. Unfortunately he had already lost the sight of his left eye.
It is beyond belief that such deliberate cruelty could happen to two innocent animals who have given such joy and love to their owners and their young children.
