S.A.F.E. Young Riders

If you live in Surrey, keep your horse/pony in Surrey and are under sixteen years of age you have the opportunity to join our S.A.F.E. Young Riders. Do you like attending shows? Entering classes? We are sponsoring classes in many shows within the County. Classes are open to all, also act as a qualifier for our S.A.F.E. Rider of the Year. First & second placing from each qualifying show may go forward to the final. With rosettes to 6th place. We are sure you will enjoy entering these qualifiers and supporting the S.A.F.E. scheme.

Final qualifier classes for our Rider of the Year 2008 will be at Pacesham Equestrian Centre, Leatherhead on Sunday 31st August. The 1st & 2nd placing from qualifying classes will be eligible to compete in final. To avoid any confusion between the qualifying classes & the final, please read your schedule carefully for the class number and timing.

All competitors for final judging must be fully paid up member of our riders schemes.
Subs are still only £5 per year.

The S.A.F.E. stand will be on the showground where you may join prior to your class.

Want to join our Young Riders but do not have your own horse. No worries!

We are delighted that several Riding Schools within the County are signing up to our scheme, we are joining with the Riding School to provide some fun days during the year. Any riders joining the S.A.F.E scheme will be eligible to take part. Here too, rosettes, certificate and goody bags will be available. Most importantly, for riding school members of S.A.F.E. there will be the opportunity to win our Bronze, Silver & Gold medals.
